Before placing the water logged Orchid roots back into its original cheap plastic cup, I took a metal cooking skewer and poked as many holes as I could all around the cup to allow air in to help dry the moss.
I will admit that every couple of days until I repotted this cutie, that I pulled small amounts of sopping wet moss out from underneath, under the crown area, with tweezers. I just couldn't watch the moss suffocate her. 😀
