Last bloom fell off in the afternoon! Very sad for me! 😢 What's amazing though is that this is the first complete bloom-spike-bloom cycle this Orchid has shared with me. I look forward to many, many more! 😊

Oh so sad this morning, and totally surprised too...first wilted bloom fell, and 2 more slowly starting to wilt. Seems to have been a very short bloom cycle for this beautiful Phalaenopsis. A hair over 2 months ago, I woke up to first bloom. I really think this little beauty got confused with the seasons, since most new spikes should normally start in late Autumn when the temperatures begin dropping rather than in late Spring. The future should be interesting, to say the least! 😕  Sometimes I am totally amazed at the quality of close up images my cell phone takes, and I just couldn't resist this photo. BTW, photo taken with a BlackBerry Priv, full credit going to the 18-megapixels. I LOVE this phone, almost as much as I love my Orchids! ❤❤❤  |
