As suspected back on August 25th, the new "possible spike" actually turned out to be a beautiful new healthy aerial root. Check it out on the right side of the picture. It's growing wild! lol
Now if you look really close, you can see another new baby aerial root peeking out on the bottom left. This Orchid happens to be very happy in the Better-Gro Phalaenopsis Mix, so why fix something that's not broken! 😉
