Can you see it?  I get so excited every time one of my Orchids starts to grow a new leaf...almost like the news of a new baby on the way!   😉

Not even 8 days after doing a massive Orchid rotten root removal, the fungus gnats were still at it with this Orchid.  Had to remove from pot again to check out what was going on!  WOW...more rotten, mushy roots and one was even oozing.

When I dumped the media out in the trash, a few fungus gnats came out with it!  But I sealed the trash bag before they could escape.

Snipped off all the rotted roots, and repotted in rePotme Dark Classic and put back in dining room.

Has 5 viable green roots…on shorter side, but healthy.  Rinsed roots twice to soak them green.  Leaves not crinkled but still has "bunny ears".  🐰  I'm now semi-hopeful!

Topped off with fresh soaked bark to give it more support since lots of dead roots were cut away July 19th.  Fungus gnats definitely coming from this plant…must be more dead mushy roots in media.  Needs to be repotted ASAP.  Check out the 'bunny ears'!  😟
