Not even 8 days after doing a massive Orchid rotten root removal, the fungus gnats were still at it with this Orchid. Had to remove from pot again to check out what was going on! WOW...more rotten, mushy roots and one was even oozing.
When I dumped the media out in the trash, a few fungus gnats came out with it! But I sealed the trash bag before they could escape.
Snipped off all the rotted roots, and repotted in rePotme Dark Classic and put back in dining room.
Has 5 viable green roots…on shorter side, but healthy. Rinsed roots twice to soak them green. Leaves not crinkled but still has "bunny ears". 🐰 I'm now semi-hopeful!
